Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Sigiriya

   Arrive in Sri Lanka, transfer with assistance to Sigiriya, check in, and overnight with dinner at the hotel.

2. Day 2

   Sigiriya

   Rise before dawn for a magical sunrise climb up Sigiriya Rock, watching the ancient fortress emerge in golden light before returning to the hotel for breakfast. Later, journey to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, exploring its beautifully preserved ruins, temples, and stone carvings that tell the story of Sri Lanka's medieval capital. In the evening, unwind with a vibrant traditional cultural show before settling in for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

3. Day 3

   Kandy

   After breakfast, explore the ancient Dambulla Cave Temple with its stunning painted ceilings and Buddha statues, then set off for Kandy, pausing along the way to wander through a fragrant spice garden and visit a local museum. On arrival, check in and take some time to relax before heading out in the evening to the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

4. Day 4

   Kandy

   After breakfast, wander through the lush Peradeniya Botanical Garden, home to sprawling lawns and rare tropical flora, before setting off to experience a scenic stretch of the Pekoe Trail through Sri Lanka's tea-covered hills. Return to the hotel to relax at leisure, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

5. Day 5

   Nuwara Eliya

   After breakfast, journey to Nuwara Eliya, stopping en route to admire the cascading Ramboda Falls. On arrival, visit a working tea plantation and factory to see how Ceylon's famous tea is grown and crafted, then check in at the hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely city tour of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's charming "Little England," before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

6. Day 6

   Yala

   After breakfast, board one of the world's most scenic train journeys from Nanu Oya to Ella, winding through emerald tea hills and misty valleys. On arrival in Ella, visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge before continuing on to Yala, checking in at the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

7. Day 7

   Yala

   After breakfast, visit the sacred Kataragama Temple, a revered multi-religious pilgrimage site, before returning to the hotel to relax. In the afternoon, set off on an exciting jeep safari through Yala National Park in search of leopards, elephants, and abundant wildlife, before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

8. Day 8

   Weligama

   After breakfast at the hotel, head to the coastal town of Weligama and check in on arrival. In the afternoon, glide through the tranquil Rekawa Lagoon on a scenic boat ride, spotting mangroves and birdlife along the way, before returning to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

9. Day 9

   Return Delhi

   After breakfast fly from Colombo to Delhi with your sweet memories
